- 88-90 Punkte Robert Parkers WINE ADVOCATE, Lisa Perrotti-Brown: "Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 La Tour de Mons has an expressive nose of redcurrant jelly, fresh blackcurrants and kirsch with nuances of tilled soil, bouquet garni, black olives and pencil shavings. The medium-bodied palate has bags of lively red and black fruits with a slight chewiness to the texture and an herbal lift on the finish."

- 89-91 Punkte VINOUS, Antonio Galloni: "The 2019 La Tour de Mons is a very pretty, elegant wine. Bright floral notes, vibrant red Margaux fruit and mid-weight structure give Tour de Mons its distinctive, wonderfully inviting personality. Although the 2019 is not especially complex, it more than makes up for that with its pure appeal. Floral and blood orange accents lift the finish nicely. Tour de Mons is now owned by the Perrodo family, who also owns d'Alesme and Labégorce. It will be interesting to see where things go in coming years."

- 88-90 Punkte VINOUS, Neal Martin: "The 2019 La Tour de Mons offers ripe black plums and date on the nose, quite generous and developing floral scents with aeration. The palate is silky smooth on the entry with supple tannins, plenty of black fruit mixed with cassis. The only shortcoming is a lack of depth and persistence on the finish."

- 91 Punkte DECANTER, Jane Anson: "Now owned by the team at Labegorce and Marquis d'Alesme, and it's an enjoyable vintage with evident juice and grip running through the palate. Always a good value Margaux, which opens to show creamy blackberry texture and traces of violet florality. Drinking Window 2023 - 2038"

- 92-93 Punkte JAMES SUCKLING: "Lots of blue fruit and blackberries with wet-earth and mushroom character. Full body, firm tannins and a juicy finish."
